Viernes de compras

By matrioshka07

Today… or maybe I should start with yesterday… yesterday we had our family dinner in the apartment and of course… after dinner some wine, some smoking, nice and relaxing things. What am I promoting? My life and Madrid. Better said, Madrid and my life (respect!). A pretty long night, a very early Friday morning.

I went to work, and even though people generally only pretend they work on Fridays, I actually did. After finishing what I wanted to finish I had a very funny, nice, sweet “Internet communication”… even though I wanted a little more than that; I didn’t get it. And I’m actually not in a hurry anymore.

Shopping… my favourite subject, my happiness, my sadness (money I mean, of course), my ruin! After work I went to Temptation Village, original name Las Rozas Village. Ah… do I have enough words to describe my paradise and hell? Outlet store, brands, so cheap and still so expensive for a student. You can guess what I bought: shoes. But today 2 pairs, even though I tried to convince myself that I will never buy more than one pair a week. I don’t even want to count.

Sandals, silver, no heels, I’ll probably wear them… someday (it’s raining and cold outside, yes, even though it’s Spain). Brand: Cortefiel. Price: 20 EUR Good one!

Sport shoes, navy style, LOEWE, 70 EUR. I don’t have any food, where am I thinking? Well… as long as I’m happy… and I am!

The additional dress that I bought doesn’t even count. Please, it’s just a pice of clothing. Total: a lot of money that I can’t afford to spend. Verdict: 5 EUR left in cash until the 24th of April. The 5 EUR will dissappear tomorrow as I want to go to the swimming pool. Again… as long as I’m happy.

After “Temptation Village” I went to Pablo’s house, showed him my new shoes, had a nice conversation over tea and then home. As usual, people gathered in our apartment, some drinking before going out and so they went: Tupper Ware, a kind of disco-bar that I’m not very fond of, so I passed, just to have this nice moment in my bed, alone, on a rainy Friday night in Madrid.
